Ever wondered what it's like to ski?

WONDER NO MORE! Imagine yourself skiing down a mountain with brilliant sunshine, beautiful scenery, and lots of friends. What's holding you back? Come on - sign up for our program and we will introduce you to a sport like no other. Bring a friend (volunteers are always welcome) and double the fun!

Things you will need

Skiing is a winter sport!

We will ski when it's cold, we will ski when it is warm. We ski when it's calm, we ski when it's windy. We will ski whenever conditions are safe for the athletes to participate and arrive safely, but mostly - we will ski!

 

With that in mind, please dress for the conditions. Here is a list of things that are required (items in BOLD are required and is available as rental equipment if needed). All equipment costs are covered by Special Olympics for those requiring it.

Turtleneck or similar shirt as LAYER I.          

Light sweater or similar as LAYER II.

Winter jacket appropriate for conditions.     A team jacket will be provided.

Gloves - suitable for skiing                               

Ski Pants

Ski Goggles                             

Helmet - suitable for skiing                             Must be FIS certified and will be provided as needed.

Downhill Skis

Ski Boots

Ski Poles
